Customize email templates
When you send a note through Outreach, you don't have to start from a blank page every time. NestPoint lets you save the wording as a template, drop in merge fields that fill in each person's details, and reuse it whenever you need it. Here's how to shape the messages your members actually read.
Where templates live
Templates belong to Engagement, under Outreach — the same place you compose and send. When you write a message you're happy with, save it as a template so the next send starts from your words instead of an empty box.
Writing with merge fields
A merge field is a placeholder that fills itself in for each recipient — a first name, for instance — so one message reads as if you wrote it to each person by hand. Add the fields where you want them, and NestPoint swaps in the real value when the email goes out. If a field has nothing to fill for someone, it falls back gracefully rather than printing a blank or a broken tag.
Keeping it plain and readable
Outreach emails are plain-text by design. That keeps them personal and lands them in inboxes cleanly, so lean on clear wording and short paragraphs rather than heavy formatting. A note that reads like it came from a person tends to get read.
The emails you can't rewrite
Some messages NestPoint sends on your behalf — sign-in invitations, portal verifications, receipts, and other system notices — aren't editable templates today. They're written to be clear and consistent, and their wording is fixed for now.
