Connect payments and email
NestPoint leans on two outside services to do its job: Stripe for taking card payments, and email for reaching members. Both are set up from Organization settings, in their own sections rather than one big list. This walks through connecting each one.
Connect Stripe for card payments
Card payments run through Stripe. In Organization settings, open Online payments and choose Set up Stripe. That hands you off to Stripe's own setup to enter your organization's details, and there are no API keys to copy or paste. When you come back, the page shows your status moving from Setup not started toward Taking payments, along with whether card payments and payouts to your bank are on.
Once Stripe is connected, members can pay online through the portal, and you can take card payments at the desk. For in-person cards, the same Online payments area has a Card readers (Stripe Terminal) section where you Pair reader to add a countertop reader for staff to charge cards on.
Set up how your email goes out
NestPoint sends the email for you — you don't wire up a mail service or keys. What you control lives under Communication. In Sender identity, set the Sender display name recipients see, and a Reply-to email so their replies reach the right inbox. Leave a field blank and it falls back to your organization's default.
Just below, Email enablement has two switches. Outreach email covers the campaigns and automations you write, and Account email covers the messages NestPoint sends on its own, like booking confirmations and sign-up welcomes. Turning outreach off stops campaigns and automations across your organization while those everyday confirmations keep going.
