Manage member portal access

The member portal is where your people can sign in to see their own account — their registrations, their balance, their history. It's off until you decide to turn it on, and even then your team's role is deliberately narrow. This walks through switching it on and what you can help a member with from the inside.

Turning the portal on

In Organization settings, open the Portal section. It ships off by default, so nothing is exposed to members until you're ready. When you are, switch on Portal enabled and members can begin creating their sign-ins.

How members get in

Members set up and verify their own accounts — the portal is self-serve on purpose. That's why your team doesn't send invitations or reset passwords from here; the account belongs to the member, and they hold the keys to it.

Reading account states

Each account shows a state so you can tell at a glance where someone stands. Unverified means they started but haven't confirmed their email yet. Linked means their sign-in is matched to their member record and working. Unresolved means the system couldn't confidently match their sign-in to a member and needs a person to sort it out. Suspended means access is turned off for that account.

What your team can do

Two actions sit with staff. You can Suspend an account to cut off its access — useful if something looks wrong or a person asks you to lock it. And when an account is Unresolved, you can step in to resolve the linking so it connects to the right member.
