Adjust a member's membership tier
A member's tier is their access level — it decides what they can see and do in the member portal, and how often. Moving someone to a different tier takes a few seconds. It's worth knowing up front that a tier is about access, not money: changing it never charges anyone or starts a subscription.
Change one member's tier
Open the member and go to the Profile tab.
In the Membership section, open the Tier dropdown and pick the new one.
Choose Save at the bottom of the page.
The change takes effect right away — there's no future start date to set.
That's it. The new access applies immediately, and NestPoint records the change — who moved them, from which tier to which — so there's a clear trail if anyone asks later.
Move a group at once
When a whole set of members should shift together — a seasonal promotion, a program ending — you don't have to open them one by one. Open the tier they're currently on, go to its Members tab, select the ones you want, and choose Move to tier…. Pick the Target tier, add a short Reason if it helps you remember why, and confirm Move members.
What changes for the member
A tier controls which parts of the portal a member can reach — signing up for trips or activities, say — and can cap how many times they do something in a set window. Move them up and those doors open; move them down and the ones they've lost show as unavailable.
