Build a funder packet

Grant and funder reports tend to ask for the same handful of numbers — unduplicated people served, units of service, a demographic breakdown. NestPoint lets you pull each of those as a report, gather them into a packet, and export the whole thing as one document. Build it once and it's easy to reproduce next quarter.

Demographics funder summary

Who you served, broken out across dimensions like age band, race, ethnicity, and residency — as unduplicated counts and percentages.

Units of Service summary

Every service you delivered in one table — meals, activities, trips, rides, check-ins, and volunteer hours — each with a count of the distinct people it reached.

Household contribution summary

Contribution dollars gathered, totaled by household, when a funder wants the financial picture.

Older Americans Act reports

If you report to an Area Agency on Aging, the Meals Title III roll-up, Demographics age bands, and Transportation AAA quarterly line up with those requirements.

Set each report's window and scope

Open a report and set its date range to your grant period, along with any Center or Audience scope the funder asked for. Get one report looking right before you add it — the packet remembers the exact filters you used, so it's worth a moment to confirm the window and totals first.

Gather them into a packet

1. In Reporting, open Packets and create a new one — name it for the grant and period, like “United Way — FY26 Q1.”

2. Run a report with the filters you want, then choose Add to packet.

   The packet stores the report and its filters as one item, so it re-runs the same way every time you open it.

3. Repeat for each report the funder needs.

4. Reorder the items so they read in the order the funder expects.

Export the packet

Open the packet and choose Export. For a funder, PDF bundle is usually what you want — one document with a cover page and each report as its own section. If they'd rather have the raw numbers, CSV ZIP or Excel ZIP gives a file per report, and Manifest CSV is just the index of what's inside.
