Generate a board summary report
A board wants the shape of things — are we growing, who are we reaching, how's the money. There's no single “board summary” button in NestPoint; instead you pick a few reports that answer those questions and gather them into one packet you can export together. It's the same packet feature funders use, aimed at a different audience.
Pick reports that show direction
A board reads change more than raw totals, so lean on the comparison reports first:
- Attendance period comparison
- This period against the last — total check-ins, unique members, new members, and average daily attendance, with the change shown beside each. The clearest “are we growing” view.
- Revenue period comparison
- The same side-by-side treatment for money coming in, so the financial trend sits next to the attendance one.
- Monthly totals
- A month-by-month rollup — good for a longer trend line behind the headline comparison.
- Unique members served
- The distinct people you reached over the period — a plain, honest measure of scope.
Add impact, if the board likes it
If your board cares about who you serve, add the Demographics funder summary for a breakdown of the population, or the Units of Service summary to show the full range of what you delivered — meals, activities, rides, and more — in one table.
Gather and export
In Reporting, open Packets and create one named for the meeting, like “Board — March 2026.”
Run each report with the period you want, choosing Add to packet as you go.
Keep the date range consistent across the reports so the numbers line up when the board reads them together.
Order the items so the story flows — growth first, then reach, then impact.
Choose Export → PDF bundle for a single document with a cover page and each report as a section.
