Create a group
A group is a named roster — a class list, a club, a regular crowd. Once it exists you can add members, check them in together, and see how often they show up.
Create the group
Press New group at the top of the Groups page.
Give it a Name, and a Description if you like.
The name is required — something like Tuesday Morning Yoga. The description is optional and shows on the group's detail page, a good spot for who attends or anything the desk should know.
Press Create group.
It reads Creating… for a moment, then the group exists and you're ready to build its roster.
Active and inactive groups
New groups start active. When you edit a group, an Active toggle appears. Inactive groups stay in the database but disappear from front-desk pickers and reports — use it for a group you've paused but don't want to lose.
Tour the group page
Every group has a detail page with three tabs — Overview, Roster, and Attendance — plus a Check in button that takes the whole group to the front desk. Bulk check-in is covered in Check in a group.
Archive a group
To retire a group, open it and choose Archive group from the header menu. The group is hidden from active lists, its roster history is kept, and you can Reactivate group later.
