Create membership tiers
Tiers group your members and decide what each group can see and do on the member portal. Set them up once, and new members land on the right tier on their own.
What a tier holds
Each tier carries a name and a look, a set of portal permissions with optional quotas, and can be the default landing tier for new members. Some tiers are marked System tier — like a suspended tier — and are read-only.
Create a tier
Press New tier.
Give it a Tier name and pick a base under Start from.
The base copies that tier's module access and quotas as a starting point, so you're not configuring every module from scratch.
Press Create tier.
You land on the new tier's setup screen to fine-tune it.
Configure the tier
The tier's Setup tab is grouped into sections:
- Basics
- The Name and a Description shown to staff in the tier picker.
- Appearance
- A color and icon used on the tier card and badge.
- Defaults
- Whether this is the Default for self-registered portal signups or the Default for staff-created members. One tier holds each default at a time.
- Portal access
- For each module, choose None, Read-only, or Full, and set a quota where one is offered.
Order and remove tiers
With two or more tiers, Reorder lets you set their order with Move up and Move down; press Done when you're set. A tier's ••• menu sets defaults or offers Delete tier…. You can't delete a system tier or one that still has members — reassign them first.
