Common questions
Quick answers to the things people ask most about this part of NestPoint.
How do I make one message read like it was written to each person?
Drop in merge fields — placeholders like a first name that fill in for each recipient when the message goes out. You write it once, and everyone gets a note that reads as if it were meant for them.
Can I use heavy formatting or HTML in an email?
Outreach emails are plain text by design — no heavy HTML. That keeps them personal and lands them cleanly in inboxes, so lean on clear wording and short paragraphs instead of styling.
When I build an audience by conditions, does the list stay current?
An audience is defined by conditions, so it reflects who matches when you use it. The exact recipient list is fixed at the moment a send goes out — someone who joins afterward isn't pulled into a message already on its way.
What's the difference between a campaign and an automation?
A campaign is a one-off message you send now or schedule for a time. An automation runs on its own — a welcome to new members, say — sending when its trigger happens without you pressing anything.
How do I know an email actually delivered?
Open the Activity view to see each send with its status and time. Anything that bounced is flagged there too, so you can spot a bad address rather than wonder whether it arrived.
