Set transportation defaults

A few settings shape how every ride starts and how staff label them. You set them once so the ride form comes pre-filled and everyone uses the same categories.

Ride defaults

On Settings, set the Default pickup window (± min), Default passenger count, and Default trip purpose so new rides open with sensible values. Press Save to see Transportation settings saved.

Staff creates pending

When on, rides staff create land on the Requests page as pending instead of going straight to scheduled.

Enforce eligibility

Holds rides for members who aren't marked eligible to ride.

Notification recipients

The staff emailed when requests arrive or rides change.

Ride purposes

Add the categories staff pick when creating rides — Medical, Social, Nutritional, and so on. Give each a label and a sort order. An empty list reads No ride purposes yet. Add the categories staff use when creating rides (Medical, Social, Nutritional, etc.).

Cancellation and no-show reasons

Add the reasons staff choose when a ride falls through. Each reason's Applies to decides whether it shows for a Cancel, a No-show, or Both.
