Set up a recurring series
When a class meets every week, you don't schedule each session by hand. A series puts them on the planner from a pattern: which weekdays it meets, and when it stops.
Start a series
Start a new session on the planner, then switch the repeat toggle from Once to Weekly.
Everything you already filled in stays put. The activity, date, time, length, location, and notes all carry into the schedule.
Pick the weekdays it meets on, Mon through Sun.
Pick more than one if the class meets twice a week. The date you chose is where the schedule starts.
Choose when it stops: Until ended keeps it going, or On date stops it on a day you pick.
Weekly is the only pattern right now. Daily and monthly schedules aren't available yet.
Put the sessions on the planner
Save the schedule and a message tells you how many sessions it added. They show up on the planner right away, each one carrying the activity's defaults.
Even a schedule set to Until ended only fills the planner a set number of weeks ahead, not forever. That number lives in Set activity and sign-up defaults. Open the series and press Generate now to add the next stretch. The series tells you what date it currently reaches.
Pause or end a series
Pause series stops new sessions from being added. The ones already on the planner stay where they are. There's no way to start a paused series again, so if the class comes back you'll build a new schedule for it. End series closes it out on a date you pick and clears the sessions still scheduled after that date. Sessions that already ran, or that you canceled, stay on the planner. If someone has already signed up for a session past that date, cancel that session first, then end the series.
