Book a resource
You book resources from the Planner, the calendar of everything reserved. A booking attaches a renter, a resource, and a time, and will not save if it would clash with something else.
Find your way around the planner
The Planner shows bookings across your resources. Switch between the grid and a flat feed, and filter by status, kind, or resource to focus in. An empty range reads No bookings in this range.
Create a booking
Press New booking, or click an open slot in the grid to prefill the resource and time.
Pick the renter, then choose a Resource and set the Start and End.
If there are no resources yet you'll see No resources yet. Add one on the Resources page first.
Add a Label (like Birthday party for the Smith family) and any Notes. A live quote shows the total due.
Press Create booking. You'll see Booking created.
Clear a conflict
If the time overlaps another booking or a blackout, you'll see This time conflicts with another booking. Pick another time, or override with a reason below. The booking will not save until you move it, or type a reason to book over it on purpose. Booking over another booking also has to be allowed in your rentals settings; a blackout only needs the reason.
What the statuses mean
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Hold | Tentatively blocked, not yet locked in. |
| Pending | Waiting on approval or payment. |
| Confirmed | Locked in and on the calendar. |
| Completed | The booking has happened. |
| Cancelled | Called off. The reason shows in the drawer. |
| Denied | Turned down. |
