Set rentals defaults

The rentals Settings page is a hub of cards, each opening one part of the setup. This covers the workspace defaults — how charges and cancellations work, who's allowed to book, and when the facility is closed.

How the hub works

On Settings, each card shows what it controls and whether it's ready. Press Configure on a card to open it.

Auto-create charges for bookings and set the default cancellation deadline.

Permissions

Control which member tiers can request, book, or see resources.

Notifications

Email staff when requests arrive or bookings change.

Availability blackouts

Create facility closures or reserved blocks. Open blackouts jumps to the full list.

Blackouts

A blackout closes a resource for a stretch of time — a holiday, a repair, a reserved block. Bookings can't be made over one, and the planner flags any that would overlap.
