Read and post shift notes

Shift notes are the desk's running memory — the reminder to yourself, the heads-up for whoever works the counter next. They sit in the Notes panel and rotate through on their own so nothing gets buried.

Read what's posted

The Notes panel shows one note at a time and cycles through the rest. Use the dots to step forward or back. Before anyone posts, it reads No notes yet — leave one for yourself or the desk.

Each note is tagged so you know who it's for: Personal notes are yours alone, and Workstation notes are shared with everyone who works this desk. A long note truncates with … More — click it to read the rest.

Post a note

  1. Press Add on the Notes panel.

The Notes window opens with two tabs.

  2. Pick Personal or Workstation.

Personal is visible only to you. Workstation is visible to every front-desk operator at this workstation.

  3. Type your note and press Post note.

The box prompts you with What should you remember? for a personal note, or What should the desk know? for a workstation note.

Edit, pin, or remove notes

Open the manage menu — the on the Notes panel — to edit, pin, or delete existing notes. From the same window you can set how fast notes cycle with Cycle every, or pause the rotation while you read. Press Done when you're finished.
